The article considers the composition and functions of biblical quotations in the
most famous military narrations of the late Russian Middle Ages: The Tale of the Capture
of Tsargrad by the Turks and Kazan History, in relation to the use of texts of the Holy
Scripture in earlier chronicles of war stories. The study showed that the expansion of the

LATE A. S. PUSHKIN IN THE DIALOGUE OF CULTURES OF THE PEOPLES OF THE VOLGA REGION
D. V. Pole
Abstract.
Pushkin’s work is an example of penetrating into the innermost depths of human
consciousness with a simultaneous increase in brevity and severity of form. Due to this,
“immersion in Pushkin” is a unique opportunity for one-time maturity and “growing into”
Russian literature for young national authors, including representatives of the peoples of
the Volga region. Late Pushkin’s creative work demonstrates a combination of individualization
of upbringing and humanistic ideals with ancestral, familial, traditional, and for
the peoples of the Volga region, also the organic combination of traditional and innovative
without humiliation and self-praise, the rarest case of finding the measure as the most
important criterion of the truth of art since antiquity.
Keywords: late works of Pushkin, literature of the peoples of the Volga region, Pushkin’s
criterion.

“THE TRUE POET” IN CHARLOTTE BRONTË’S PERCEPTION
N. I. Sokolova
Abstract.
The article deals with one of the key notions of aesthetics and literary works of
Charlotte Bronte. In her early works, later in her essays and letters the writer declares her
idea of the poet mostly based on aesthetics of Romanticism. She considers talent, originality,
hard work, respect to the reading public to be necessary qualities of a poet. For her a poet
should beware of base themes of everyday life; the creative process has spontaneous character.
She applies the term “poet” to creators of poetry as well as prose. Later in her novels the
writer endows the notion of a poet with more broad sense. She calls “the true poet” any man
who possesses intensity of feelings, rich imagination, high moral qualities, feels harmony
with nature. All the main heroes of her novels possess these features. “The true poet” is the
personification of Ch. Brontë’s moral and aesthetical ideal, the notion which she applies to
the personality of an artist as well as to a man in general.
Keywords: poet, aesthetics, Romanticism, creative process, essay, inspiration, imagination.

THE IMAGE OF RUSSIA IN JACQUES MARGERET’S BOOK “THE RUSSIAN EMPIRE AND GRAND DUCHY OF MUSCOVY”
V. P. Trykov
Abstract.
The article describes the structure of the image of Russia in the travel notes of
the French officer Jacques Margeret (around1550 – no later than 1618) “The State of the
Russian Empire and the Grand Duchy of Muscovy” (1607) and reveals the dominant position
of the figure of False Dmitry in the image structure, analyzes the opposition of Boris
Godunov // False Dmitry in the system of characters, its semantic content and function in
constructing the image of Russia. The role of the fantastic element in the narration, as well
as the semantic loading of the cold climate motif as markers of otherness, and “barbarism”
of Russia, is analyzed. The article shows the connection of Margaret with the traditions of
classical historiography, its ethical pathos. The place of the book of Margaret in the European
discourse about Russia of the XVI – beginning of the XVII century has been defined.
The influence of travel notes on the criticism of Margeret in relation to Russia is noted,
and the role of Renaissance ideologies in the design of its image is shown. Some structural
features of the book are described. The role of Margeret’s professional knowledge in military
affairs and the emphasis in his image of Russia on the military component, which, meanwhile,
does not seem to the author threatening to Europe, is noted. The interest of the book
by Margaret for the French reader is explained not only by its informational value but also
by the associations that the events of the Russian Troubles evoked in the French reader of
the era of religious wars in Europe. The conclusion is drawn about the duality of the image
of Russia and the ambiguity of the author’s assessments, combining moderate criticism of
Russian reality (especially customs) with sincere interest and appreciation of Russia as a
potential trading and military partner of France, a stronghold of Christianity, capable of
playing an important role in the struggle against the growing Ottoman empire.
Keywords: Russia, travelogue, the image of „the Other”.

ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS OF EVALUATION PROCEDURES
AS A WAY TO IMPROVE THE TEACHERS` PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE
Yu. A. Batalova
Abstract.
The relevance of the article is due to the fact that for a modern school providing
a high level of quality education is the main strategic goal. Under the quality of education
Federal State Educational Standard implies the students` achievement of personal,
meta-subject and subject results in learning. At the same time, the quality of education in modern understanding is the successful functioning of the educational organization, that
is, the purposeful activity of its management and teachers in the direction of ensuring the
quality of education. Therefore, an important aspect of the modern educational system is
the continuity of professional development of school teachers, the formation of a new type
of teacher – not just a performer, but a researcher and designer, who is able to self-improve
and self-develop. This, in turn, imposes new requirements on the system of methodical
work, one of which is to take into account the results of procedures for assessing the quality
of education in the professional development of teachers. The article provides an overview
of the system of evaluation procedures, the results of which can be used in the planning of
methodological work, as well as the directions of using the results of evaluation procedures
in designing the system of teachers` professional development.

INTERDISCIPLINARY RELATIONS OF MATHEMATICS AND PHYSICS IN THEIR HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT
A. V. Ovcharov
Abstract.
Unlike many works devoted to a comprehensive study of interdisciplinary connections
at different levels of education, including the example of physics and mathematics,
the article presents an analysis of interdependent historical development of physical and
mathematical knowledge. The work shows that in the ancient world, when physics originated,
ideas about the world using mathematics got the right understanding. In Middle
Ages, it became obvious that mathematics is a reliable tool in the hands of physics. Modern
ideas about the world around us are built primarily using a mathematical model, and then
a physical experiment confirms this model. There is hope that the presented material will
allow the teacher to become aware of the government’s steps to implement the Concept for
the Development of Mathematical Education in the Russian Federation.

RESEARCH OF POSSIBILITIES OF SEMANTIZATION OF LANGUAGE UNITS
AMONG YOUNGER SCHOOLCHILDREN WITH READING DISABILITIES
E. D. Babina
Abstract.
The article presents a description of the results of a study of semantization of
predicative constructions and periphrastic expressions of students with reading disorders. A
theoretical justification of the use of conceptual approaches of linguistic science for the development
of methods and criterial research apparatus is given. The significant attributes of
semantization underlying the analysis of experimental data include such phenomena as the
associative potential of the word, the proposition, the ratio of the paraphrase to the primary nomination, the double reference of the paraphrase. A brief description of the method of ascertaining
research and the scoring system for evaluating semantic judgments of schoolchildren
are considered. As a results of the experimental materials analysis, the article reveals the
difficulties of the syntactic component perception of linguistic units, the difficulty of correlating
the periphrasis with the primary word, the instability of the actualization of double reference
periphrasis, and the limited representation of the words’ associative potential components
characteristic for students with reading disabilities. The author shows that the established
difficulties are due to the insufficient functioning of the cognitive mechanisms of inference,
profiling, association, and conceptual integration.

Abstract.
The authors of the article based on the foreign publications analysis, describe the
essence and assess the feasibility of using the support group method for bullying victims in
Russian schools, known in the world of pedagogical practice as «No blame» approach. This approach,
exotic and unbelievable for an authoritatively thinking teacher, represents a challenge
to the modern Russian system of educating students because it offers not to punish bullies but to
actively use the prosocial potential of the original team and witnesses of violence. The authors
of the article are the first in the national social pedagogy to introduce a comprehensive description
of the principles for implementing the method of group support for the victims of bullying
to the scientific and methodological circulation. In addition, the article concisely presents an
algorithm for involving witnesses in support of a child who has become a target of harassment.
