ACTIVITY APPROACH TO THE STUDY OF BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES IN PEDAGOGICAL HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AS A METHODOLOGY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CONJUGATE FUNDAMENTAL SCIENCE CONCEPTS
S. M. Pohlebaev, I. A. Tretyakova
Abstract.
Subject activity as a philosophical category has the most important methodological
and ideological significance, especially for pedagogical and psychological science. In the educational
field, the philosophical principle of activity lies at the basis of the activity approach,
which, along with the systemic and personal approach, forms the basis of the federal state
educational standards. All three approaches have great methodological potential for cognitionof reality, however, they do not provide a complete picture of the object of study and, like all
sorts of high-level abstractions of generalization, determine the need for their specification.
The activity approach has special significance in the development of conjugated natural science
concepts which allow to identify the essence of biological objects of different levels of organization
studied in biological disciplines. In the present study, as a concrete example of the
implementation of the methodological potential of the activity approach, the task for students to
design is the „Idealized model of life” based on the conjugated natural science concepts.

RESEARCH COMPETENCE AS A FACTOR OF READINESS OF FUTURE SOCIAL TEACHERS TO WORK WITH DISABLED CHILDREN
N. V. Kurilovich, E. A. Chernova
Abstract.
The article presents a substantive description of the concepts „competence”, „competency”,
„research competence” as a factor of readiness of social teachers to work with children with
disabilities. Research competence in the work with such children is a necessary component for
the subsequent manifestation of professional readiness and attainment of mastery, developing
one’s own work style, which the future teacher should have. Research competence is considered
as an integral concept, with a steady personal education of an individual and with embedded
knowledge, skills and personal qualities, motives, values that determine the competence of future
specialists. The problem of research competence is many-sided, as it combines psychological,
sociological and pedagogical aspects. It must be considered as a holistic manifestation of the
inner activity of the future social teacher, his theoretical and practical readiness for research
activities, and the content of the professional activity is aimed at independent cognition, solving
the problem. External and internal factors that influence the formation of research competence
from the position of macro, mezzo, and micro levels are identified. The components of research
competence, in the authors’ opinion, are axiological, cognitive, technological-designing. Each
component corresponds to the levels: high, medium, low. As applied to the educational process of
a higher education institution, research competence encourages students to stimulate interest in
working with children with disabilities, to search for independent solutions, to form professional
competence and motivational readiness, directing them to a deeper study and understanding of
future professional activities.
Keywords: disabled children, competence, research competence, factors, levels, components of
research readiness.

of its formation are also singled out. In object-mathematical terms, the methodological-mathematical
adaptation of the psychological-didactic regularities of the formation of the system of
subject-based knowledge is presented as a basic method. It is supplemented by specific methodological
and mathematical patterns: the formation of abstract mathematical thinking and its
components; structural formation of spatial and theoretical-spatial types of thinking; analysis
of the system of mathematical knowledge in the content of the educational mathematical theory;integration of mathematical language, mathematical speech and mathematical thinking; conceptual-
categorial integration of educational mathematical theories.

PERSONNEL POLICY OF GENERAL EDUCATION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW IN THE CONDITIONS OF REFORMATION: FIRST RESULTS
A. G. Kasprzhak, A. A. Kobtseva, M. S. Britkevich, A. I. Kirnarskiy
Abstract.
The article analyzes the changes in the management style of decision-making in Moscow
schools during the period of dynamic transformations in the education system of the city.
Using the methodology of A. Row, the article compares the profiles of management decisionmaking
styles by school management teams of 2014 and 2017. A number of managers whouse a preferred conceptual style of decision-making during this period has increased 4.7 times.
Comparison of the characteristic actions of the participants of the management team, taking into
account the dominance and combination of various functions, suggests a relationship between
the style of management decision-making and the management style of each of the participants
of the management team. Based on the work of I. Adizes, the authors believe that the management
team of an educational organization is efficient and effective both in the short and long
term if it is built on complementary managerial functions and styles of managerial decisionmaking,
taking into account the stage of development of the organization. In management teams
of educational organizations that have made the maximum „jump” in the ranking, an analytical
decision-making style prevails among those surveyed according to the A. Roe methodology. Using
rating criteria as benchmarks for school success, such management teams effectively solve the
task of moving to higher positions.
Keywords: management team, management decision-making styles, management functions, rating.

THE PROCESS OF REFLECTION AS A METHOD OF COGNITION
V. V. Kulikova, I. A. Zayarnaya
Abstract.
The relevance of this work comes down to the fact that it is the reflection that should
be the basis for understanding and developing science, art, and religion, primarily on the basis of
self-knowledge. The organization and correction of educational activities have always been linked
with the success of its reflection. Traditional technologies of teaching do not require special reflection
from the students. In educational technologies, there is a transition from traditional teaching
methods because they have recently been criticized for such technologies as independent, proactive
and creative development of educational materials in the process of the cognitive activity. Some theoretical information on reflection is also presented. The article reveals one of the original
and effective in the composition of active learning methods and the most accessible of them
for use in educational technologies. The principal feature of implementation lies in the independent
mental activity of students to comprehend this discipline. By conducting such classes, the
teacher gets the chance of some concrete feedback from the students. The authors have developed
practical classes for this course while implementing one of the new approaches to the technology
of conducting classes and studying the subject: reflection as a method of cognition. Guided by
modern concepts of learning, it is necessary to motivate students for independent, initiative and
creative development of educational materials in the process of the cognitive activity. It is indicated
that reflection implies the development of the ability to learn.

INFLUENCE OF THE CHINESE SAN JIAO PHILOSOPHIES ON THE LEARNING PROCESS OF CHINESE PAINTING GUOHUA
Ju. V. Naumova
Abstract.
The theory, ethics and aesthetics of traditional Chinese painting is fundamentally
different from the historical theory of Western European painting. For many centuries, its formation
and development has directly depended on Chinese philosophical thought. The Chinese
theory of teaching painting reflects the whole complex of Chinese ideas about the world and the
place of a person in it, and the basic idea is that form is only a means of expressing the spirit – qi
energy. For a better understanding of the cultural phenomenon of Chinese painting, as well as
its drawing methods and techniques, a student belonging to another culture should know that
Chinese philosophy is the foundation on which all learning is built. The purpose of this article is
to analyze how the three schools of Chinese philosophical thought – Taoism, Confucianism, and
Buddhism or San Jiao are linked with the Chinese painting art.

P. S. Belozerov
Abstract.
The article deals with the issues of teaching simple sentence syntax in a secondary
school. Analyzing contemporary approaches to learning the Russian language the author
concludes that the most significant one is the cognitive-semantic approach. The choice of this
approach in studying grammar can enhance the communicative component of the theoretical
course and make the development of linguistic knowledge conscious by referring to the meaning
of language units, which may become possible when introducing the concepts of semantic syntax
into a school course. One of the ways to implement this approach can be the development of
grammatical-communicative exercises.
Keywords: cognitive-semantic approach, methods of teaching syntax, communicative competence,
semantic syntax, expanded sentence, grammar-communicative tasks.

JOHN LOCKE AND THE IDEALS OF ENLIGHTENMENT
M. A. Lazarev
Abstract.
The article analyzes the fundamental concepts and pedagogical views of the British
teacher, philosopher, representative of empiricism and liberalism John Locke, known in the
world as one of the most influential thinkers of the Enlightenment and theorist of liberalism.
The practical rationalism of the Anglo-Saxon culture is studied, as well as the influence and
significance that the great thinker had on the education and training system in English schools.
The article analyzes the philosophical-psychological theory of the “clean board” (Latin Tabula
rasa), which consists in denying the existence of “innate” ideas and concepts in the human mind,
showing that the human psyche is born from birth like a clean board or a blank sheet, where
there are no inscriptions. The goal of education is to bring up a true gentleman, a nobleman by
birth, a business man who knows how to manage his business intelligently and favorably, has
good physical training and is distinguished by his “grace” behavior in society.

ideologeme, concept sphere, British empiricism, liberalism, sensationalism, epistemology, metaphysics,
philosophy of consciousness, political philosophy.
